Shoes! Shoes! Shoes!
In the Steps of a Queen

Steps of a Queen

It is no secret that Celia loved her shoes, but then again, what woman doesn’t?

But Celia had an unique sense of style that was by far decades ahead of time, yes even now in 2017. Her quest for a style that would represent her vision for on stage and off stage footwear was unlike any epic fashion tale in history.

Her vision came to life by the hand and artisan soul of Mexican shoe designer and shoemaker, Mr. Nieto. Most of her shoes were custom-made for her, and they gave the illusion of making Celia appear as if she were about to take off and fly.

The Coffee Table Book, In the Steps of a Queen, will feature Celia Cruz’s shoe collection in over 60 pages of pure shoe love. More than a book, a kaleidoscope of color, design and elegance that will transport the reader to a New York street, taking a stroll in the steps of a queen.
